MBA Jobs and Careers Available for Graduates in the US today Hurry Up

If you are just graduating from university and have your Master of Business Administration or MBA degree, there are a number of MBA jobs available for you. There is a growing demand in the job market for MBA graduates because of the challenges employers are facing in finding good, qualified employees to work for them; hence it is safe to say that MBA careers are back in the running for students. With your new MBA degree in hand, you are ready to address any of the changing needs the job market will have and you will be better able to focus on the skills that you have learned. This is a respected and rewarding field if one is seriously pursuing it.
Careers in the MBA Field
There is an endless array of MBA careers for you to consider. You are not going to be stuck in a mundane 9 to 5 job that will get you nowhere. You will be well on your way to advancing your career or perhaps even starting up your own business. MBA graduates would have been taught the skills they need to write a business proposal which are essential in securing a source of funding for your new business venture. Other skills that you would need are some personal skills that you should already possess such as being innovative and imaginative. It takes both of these personal skills to succeed in the MBA jobs that are available today in the USA.
Searching for an MBA Job
When searching for MBA jobs, you want to find one that will match your skill levels. Anybody who possesses an outgoing personality and is very personable should, perhaps, consider a consulting job as a good start for your MBA career. If you like working with computers then maybe the technology industry would be a good fit for you. If you like arts and entertainment then perhaps you should be working as a media consultant or for an entertainment booking company. The best part with the explosion of the internet as a media, is that you can find the right MBA job for yourself online as well.
Expanding Your Horizons
With an MBA you have the ability to expand your horizons in choosing the right MBA job for yourself. You will be more marketable and more flexible in the type of MBA careers that you can choose from. It is best to write yourself a list of everything that interests you and then look at pursuing a career that matches your interests. By doing this, you can be assured that you are going to find a job that will be interesting. This is the best way to expand your horizons when it comes to potential future jobs because it is easier to be the best at something if you love what you are doing.
After School

With the passage of time inflation takes a toll on the economy. The education system is no exception. It is very expensive to go to a university these days so you will want to make sure that you are pursuing these kind of jobs that are going to pay well. You will probably have tuition and other costs associated with school that you will have to pay back upon completion. The good thing is that jobs in this field typically pay 50% higher than other jobs because of the skills that you would have acquired in a university.
MBA jobs and careers are very rewarding especially if you are able to find a job that will allow you to utilize your skill set and is something that you have an interest in. Coming fresh out of a university should not be fearful for you. You should embrace the hard work that you have done to get you that MBA degree.

3 Questions To Ask During A Job Interview - Jobs Interview Guide

3 Questions To Ask During A Job Interview

Not asking questions during a job interview just might make you look distracted, or even worse, clueless, and for sure it will make the job interviewer consider that you lack interest towards that particular position. However, it's really important that you should ask the right questions at the right time.
In this post, as the title of this post suggests it, I will tell you 3 questions that you should ask during a job interview. Before that though, I want to clarify a few aspects.
  • During a job interview, you should ask questions only when you need a clarification over a certain aspect;
  • During a job interview you must only ask questions that have a certain weight, regarding the company or the position you're applying for. In other words, don't ask unrelated questions;
  • Save YOUR OWN questions for the end of the interview, and once the interviewer has finished their part, ask for permission to ask your questions
Now, here are 3 questions that you should ask during a job interview.
1. How would you define the best candidate for this position?
Obviously, you should ask it at the end of the interview, so the interviewer's answer will help you make an idea how far or close you are to the position you're aiming to get. This question will give you the possibility to polish your image in the eyes of the interviewer, to make yourself shinier. However, it's a bold question, it will actually put your interviewer to work and they might not like that. You should only ask this question if you see that the interviewer has an open personality. After the interviewer's answer is complete, it's your chance to grab some parts of the answer (actually it's quite important to do that) and underline the fact that you have most of the qualities that the interviewer has just mentioned.
2. What training program does the company have for a person like me, applying for this position?
This question will make you look even more interested. However, it will make you look a bit insecure or worried that you might not have what it takes to occupy that certain position. So, you have to bring a bit of a strengthening argument to the question, saying that you're asking this question because you want to be 100% valuable for the company.
3. What activity sector of your company could use improvement?
This is the question that should be the ace up your sleeve. Of course, you should already know all the possible answers that the interviewer could give you, and have a couple of solution of improvement ready to put on the table. If you can pull this off, not only that you prove that you're interested on working there, you also prove that you will be a valuable asset to the company. Therefore, if they won't give you the job right away, you'll be pretty darn close to it.
Important Tip:
Asking the interviewer about the salary is a double-edged question. Some say you should never bring it up, some say that it should be one of the questions that you must definitely ask. First of all, it could make the interviewer think that your only interest is money, you don't really care about the company, and you haven't done your homework properly. On the other hand, if you ask this question with confidence, it will look that you really mean business, that you value your own working capacities, and this may enable your interviewer to value you more. In the end, it's up to you to decide whether you ask this or not.

Job Search Guide - Unique Places To Find Offerings Jobs

Job Search Guide

There are certain places where everyone checks that is looking for a job. They go pick up a newspaper and look in the classified section. They go online and look on Craigslist, and other online locations that list job opportunities. They also go on to LinkedIn and put all of their job qualifications, experience, and educational degrees online. These are all pretty wise if you are looking for a job, but that is where everyone else is going as well. There are many other unique places to find job offerings.
Perhaps you should be looking at bulletin boards at places like Starbucks, or at snack shops which are inside high-rise office buildings or small lunchtime restaurants in business industrial areas. It seems there are always job offerings available. Another interesting idea is to talk to someone that does mobile detailing in office parks, and ask them if they know if anyone is hiring, you'd be surprised how much information they know about the local business districts.
You might also go and talk to a church during non-Sunday services, and ask the pastor if they have any information on potential jobs. Tell them of your situation, and your need to find work, and they may just refer you to someone who owns a business who attends the church who is looking for help right now. You'd be surprised how well that works. Community college bulletin boards also have job listings, and even if you aren't a young person, you still might answer that call. Perhaps you might even be more suited because you have a little experience under your belt.
If you are looking for work in the automotive sector, you might talk to the guy who delivers and sells tools in his van to all the automotive repair shops. They are definitely in the know, and they know when someone leaves or when a position opens up. What I'm saying to you is this; you don't have to do everything the old way, you have to use your creativity and open your mind to other potential opportunities, things that other people may not be looking for - sometimes using unique strategies when searching for a job will yield the best results.
Further, if you are a creative person, and a better detective while looking for a job, then I'd say you probably deserve it more than the next person. After all, you are using your mind, and that's what an employer really needs. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

**Fantastic Tips For Preparing For A Job Interview Easily**

From time to time we could all use a little help with updating our interview techniques, whether you're a young buck fresh from school or a hardened veteran from the school of hard knocks in the article below I will try to help you prepare for your interview.
I will share with you some simple tips that will help you on your way to getting the job you want.

Problems you may have experienced?

On the morning of your interview you find that your killer job interview outfit no longer fits and also realise at the same time that perhaps it's time to hit the gym again!
You've arrived on time at the right building, but what you didn't realise was there were 20 different departments within that building and all on different floors.
You could be a nervous rambler, you know exactly how to sell yourself and the skills you have, yet when crunch time comes, your nerves take over and before you know it, you're halfway out the door smiling back whilst saying thank you and goodbye.
Let's get started on being ready!
1. Find out the location of the building you need to attend and if you need to be at a particular part of that building, find out exactly which part of the building your interview is being held at.
2. Plan and time your route to the place you need to be at. I would suggest a couple of days before your actual interview day. The last thing you want to do is turn up late because you arrived at the place on time but it took you a further hour trying to find the department.

Dressing for impressing!

We all have something smart in our wardrobe and if we don't we can often beg and borrow. First impressions last so you want to make a good one by dressing accordingly. By which I mean use your common sense and dress appropriately for your interview.
Just be sure you can attend your interview looking smart, clean and well presented. Which for women generally means hair brushed and maybe some make up (don't plaster it on though - it's a job interview not a night out on the town) just some subtle make up to show you take pride in your appearance will suffice. For men clean-shaven is always the best way to go, and for everyone clean, fresh breath is an absolute must.
You don't need to worry about selling yourself and your skills from the second you walk in the room as you have the interview so your C.V. has covered a lot of the ground work for you already. Your interviewers are already interested in hiring you and now it is time to show them why you are an exact fit for the job advertised. You need to elaborate on your skill sets now that make you the best person for the job.

Bright eyed and bushy-tailed.

Getting a good nights rest before the interview can be tricky as anxious nerves may kick in, scenarios of how the next day may pan out play out like a stuck CD in your head. Meanwhile times ticking away and just as you start to feel exhausted enough to sleep, your alarm goes off, this is never a good start to interview day.
Remember your potential employer will probably not appreciate the 'I've had a sleepless night but drank lots of coffee and energy drinks' look, nor will they appreciate you sounding like your heart is only half in it and you would rather actually have been home in bed. A good nights rest before an interview is a must!
So to help you relax and make you feel that you are actually prepared and are ready for the interview, preparation is the key.
Here is a few tricks I have personally tried and tested that have helped me.
1. Research the job for which you're applying for. This will help your confidence when answering questions about the position at your interview.
2. Practice in front of a mirror either by yourself or with a good friend. The laughs you create will certainly relax your mind, body and soul.
3. A long soak in a hot bath/shower will help you relax. Then just slouch in your favourite pyjamas with a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate afterwards.
All these tips and tricks are methods that I have used and have helped me be successful in gaining employment in my chosen field. I feel sure that they will complement the tools your local recruitment agency have also given you and hopefully will help you gain employment in your chosen field.

Very Useful Tips for Job Seekers - Before Applying

Very Useful Tips For Job Seeker before Applying for any Job

Finding a job in this job market is hard for everyone and you need to be prepared. Many job applicants are in a hurry to apply, but they may lose opportunities by not being prepared. I know you want a job now, but if you don't present the best possible product, potential employers may write you off before you can get an interview. Jobs are gained or lost in the interview, so if you don't get a call back, you won't be getting hired. Now, follow these tips and make the best impression before you apply.
1. Have a simple and professional email address.
  • Use your first and last name. Example Name: Kim Min Jung,
  • Get an international email server. We suggest Gmail.
2. Check your social networking sites.
  • Make sure you don't have inappropriate pictures (drunk, passed out, sexual behavior) on your Facebook, Cyworld or other accounts.
  • Look at your status updates and remove anything inappropriate (nothing sexual, drug or alcohol related).
  • If you don't want to "clean up" your profile pages, set them to "private."
3. Start a blog and post articles in your field.
  • Signup for a free site. We recommend WordPress.com or Tumblr.com, both are free and easy to use.
  • Use your full name in the blog title. You want it to be searchable from Google, Bing, Daum, etc. Example Name: Amir Sohail, Blog Name "http://www.jobsadvisor.blogspot.com"
  • Use your blog to show interest in your field. For example, if you are applying to work with Samsung Mobile, post articles about the iPhone, Galaxy SIII, world phone sales, new technology, etc.
  • Add a few articles a month and write short comments about the article (related to your field or skills).
  • NO personal posts unless they relate to your school, training, volunteering or work experience.
4. Get some experience.
  • If you have a job now, write down your duties which use the skills required for the job you want.
  • If you don't have a job, volunteer. Make sure to connect the volunteer work with skills required for the job you want.
  • Join professional organizations. This will cost money for membership dues, but you can list it on your resume and will be helpful for making industry connections.
These four tips will help you look more professional and have a better product (you) for companies to choose. Before you get to the actual interview, you need to practice your reading, writing and speaking to have the best possible image. Everyone knows the job market is tough today, but there are ways to separate yourself from the masses of applicants. Following these tips is a must for any job seeker. If you are not a native English speaker, then you should be practicing extra hard to improve your English Fluency. The next step is preparing for your application. Your application and resume are like thumbnails of you as a person. In the next article we will discuss some tips for the application and creating a winning resume.
